Dieser Artikel beschreibt die Installation der TV Karte Technotrend S-2300 FF unter XBMCBuntu 12.10.

Installationsumgebung / -Voraussetzung

Getestet wurde die Hardware: Technotrend S-2300 Premium FF
mit der/den VDR Versionen: 1.7.23
unter der/den Ubuntu Version(en): 12.10

Installation

Technotrend S-2300 suchen

dmesg | grep -i dvb

[    8.399201] dvb-ttpci: could not load firmware, file not found: dvb-ttpci-01.fw
[    8.399206] dvb-ttpci: usually this should be in /usr/lib/hotplug/firmware or /lib/firmware
[    8.399208] dvb-ttpci: and can be downloaded from http://www.linuxtv.org/download/dvb/firmware/

Umgebung vorbereiten und Abhängigkeiten installieren und Suchdatenbank aktualisieren

sudo apt-get install mercurial linux-headers-3.2.0-34-generic-pae make gcc bzip2 build-essential libproc-processtable-perl mc jed checkinstall libcap-dev gettext locate

Firmware herunterladen und installieren

cd /lib/firmware/
sudo wget http://www.linuxtv.org/downloads/firmware/dvb-ttpci-01.fw-2622
ln -s /lib/firmware/dvb-ttpci-01.fw-2622 /lib/firmware/dvb-ttpci-01.fw

Neustart

shutdown -r now

Test der Technotrend S-2300 Premium FF

Kernel Update

Nach Kernelupdate auf 3.5.0-40 wurde die S-2300 nicht mehr korrekt gestartet.

Nach Treiber- und Firmware Update (vorgehensweise idetnisch) musste am Schluß noch die gepachte Firmware kopiert werden

cp /usr/local/src/vdr-sc-pb/dvbsddevice/dvb-ttpci-01-fe2624-patched.fw /lib/firmware
